JONESBORO, Arkansas — Arkansas State University reported a man with a weapon on campus on Thursday.
“The individual with a weapon has been surrounded by police. No shots have been fired, no reported injuries,” the school posted on Twitter.
A spokesman said that the man drove onto campus and crashed his car into a barrier.
Police were on the scene. The university is located in Jonesboro, Arkansas, roughly 70 miles northwest of Memphis, Tennessee.
