RICHMOND, Va - Author Cheryl Jackson Baker introduced her new book, ‘Affectionately Yours: The Civil War Letters of William R. Jackson & His Wife Julia.’ After finding a box full of letter exchanged by her grandparents during the Civil War, Cheryl decided to share her family’s history in a collection of letters capturing vignettes of wartime life for a Quartermaster officer in the Union army and his wife. Cheryl will host a book signing on Thursday, August 6th at 5:30pm at Chop Suey Books, located at 2913 W. Cary Street.
