RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond will be the backdrop for the feature film, ‘Loving.’’ Richmond residents will have the opportunity to be a part of the production by attending open casting calls for the film. Casting Director Erica Arvold shared the details on what they are looking for in terms of casting.
The film centers around Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple whose love changed history through the landmark 1967 Supreme Court case, ‘Loving vs. Virginia.’ Casting Calls are Saturday, June 27 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Artworks, located at 320 Hull Street and Sunday, June 28 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Black Swan, located at 9 W Old Street in Petersburg. Participants should bring a non-returnable photo.
