Annual Memorial Day Concert Monday, May 25, 4pm sponsored by The City’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities at World War I Memorial Carillon in Byrd Park, featuring carillonneur Larry Robinson will pay tribute to our nation’s veterans through the ringing of the Carillon Bells followed by a concert from The Virginians Barbershop Chorus. Richmond Flying Squirrels celebrates the Memorial Day Weekend with a slew of games and fun starting Friday, May 22, Free Shirt Friday & Happy Hour. The first 1,000 fans (15 & up) will receive a free Squirrels shirt, Gates open at 5:30pm, start time 7:05pm.  Saturday, May 23, fireworks display following the game.  Sunday, May 24, Kids Club Sunday and Nutzy toothbrush holder giveaway. Gates open at 12:30pm, 1:35pm start. Monday, May 25 - A special Memorial Day celebration at The Diamond with a 12:05 PM start time.
