LEVITTOWN, Penn. -- Some people at a party in Pennsylvania got an unpleasant surprise from the sky.

There were about 40 guests swimming and playing horseshoes in the yard at a Sweet 16 birthday gathering. Out of nowhere, human waste began to rain down on the party.

"We just got done with cake thank God, we took the cake back in, because within two minutes, something fell from the sky, it was brown, it was everywhere, it got on everything," party guest, Kristie Rogy said.

Luckily, a canopy helped shield most of the party guests.

A family member used a smartphone app to identify five planes that were flying over them when it happened. Regulations require planes to dispose of waste at an airport, not while flying over a residential area.

The FAA is investigating the incident.
