NEW BRITAIN, Ct.– Investigators found a fourth set of remains in a spot where the remains of three missing women were discovered.

Police said a wooded area behind a shopping center at 593 Hartford Rd. in New Britain has been the subject of a renewed search that began on April 21.

The same area is where the remains of Diane Cusack, Mary Jane Menard and Joyvaline Martinez were unearthed in 2007. The women went missing in 2003, police said.

The identity of the fourth set of remains has yet to be identified, police said. They have been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for identification and examination.

In the meantime, police said the Greater New Britain Serial Killer Task Force is continuing the search of the area. It expects to be out there for several more days.
