CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police are looking for the person, or people, who set a string of damaging fires in the Meadowbrook area of Chesterfield County. The fires were set sometime between late Sunday night, March 29, and Monday morning, March 30, according to police.
"A lawn chair glider was set on fire on Monza Drive, fires were set in two bathrooms along Meadowbrook Country Club's golf course and a small fire was set beside a house on Carafe Drive," investigators wrote in an email. "In addition to the fires at each location, further damage was done through acts of vandalism."
Police have not yet provided additional details about the vandalism. Anyone with information about the fires and vandalism was asked to call Crime Solvers at 804-748-0660 or leave a tip online.
