Fado Nosso and Clave Unidos join forces for a unique theatrical experience, ‘Amalia’

RICHMOND, Va - Explore the beauty of fado music with two performances by Fado Nosso. The quartet is accompanied by dancers from Claves Unidos to give us a sneak peek into the upcoming show, 'Amalia,' a unique theatrical collaboration that weaves together evocative movement and the soulful longing of beloved melodies of Portugal and Brazil. Fado Nosso creates their unique sound by respecting fado traditions but also containing influences indigenous to the players of classical, flamenco, Brazilian, and jazz music.
