Someone has an appetite for murder in A.L. Herbert’s latest work, ‘Murder With Fried Chicken and Waffles’

RICHMOND, Va - A.L. Herbert’s latest work, Murder With Fried Chicken and Waffles, is a tasty combination of mystery, murder, and soul food. Within the first few pages readers are immediately introduced to the colorful characters at Mahalia’s Sweet Tea, the finest soul food restaurant in Prince George’s County, Maryland. But it is soon discovered someone has an appetite for murder when restaurant owner Halia Watkins discovers a grisly snene in her kitchen. Recipes included in the book are old family recipes from A.L.’s own family, and he is currently working on the next Mahalia Watkins Soul Food Mystery and more delicious comfort food recipes.
