‘Cute mugshot girl’ arrested again, has a new booking photo

RALEIGH, N.C. — A North Carolina teenager whose “cute mugshot” took the internet by storm last year has been arrested again and has a new booking photo.

WNCN reported 18-year-old Alysa Suguro Bathrick was arrested earlier this week in connection to a shoplifting incident.

Bathrick was arrested late last year in Raleigh on charges of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with intent to distribute.

She tweeted:

Surrendered myself at 7 a.m., got released at 11:30 a.m. F*** what you heard. And my mugshot’s cute. #ftp

When a Twitter user asked Bathrick last year what her charges were, the teen replied: “xanax homie.”

The original mugshot quickly went viral, with many Twitter users expressing their admiration to Bathrick.
