Enjoy the foot-tapping ‘slackgrass’ sound of The Slack Family Band

RICHMOND, Va - The Slack Family Band is a five-member string band who always deliver great performances.  They performed, “No More to Leave You Behind.” Their blend of traditional, contemporary, and original tunes created a sound fans affectionately dubbed “slackgrass.” The Slack Family Band will be performing as part of the 12-hour Bluegrass Marathon Jam to Benefit Richmond Fisher House, a home away from home for the families of veterans and active duty soldiers recovering at Richmond’s McGuire Veterans Medical Center.
