RICHMOND, Va. — Runners will be rocking out to the Wild Feathers as they race across the finish line at this year’s Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by MARTIN’S . The Nashville-based group was named as the headline band for the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k SUBWAY Post Race Festival in Monroe Park. The Wild Feathers are known for their musical variety, a toe-tapping mix of blues, folk, country, and good ole rock and roll.
The band is most known for two hit songs “The Ceiling” and “Got It Wrong.”
“We are thrilled to have The Wild Feathers performing at the SUBWAY Post Race Festival and look forward to race day,” Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k race director Lisa Randolph said. “The energy and excitement they’ll bring to Monroe Park will make it an even more memorable event for all participants.”
The Wild Feathers are scheduled to perform at 10:15 a.m. The 16th annual Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by MARTIN’S will take place March 28.
