RICHMOND, Va. — Firefighters responded to an apartment fire just before 4 p.m. Monday, in the 1700-block of Clarkson Road — in South Richmond off of Warwick Road.
When crews arrived at 3:54 p.m., they found black smoke from the windows, and everyone was safely outside when firefighters arrived.
The fire was marked under control by 4:13 p.m., Lt. Armstrong said.
There were no injuries and a fire investigator is on scene to determine the origin of the fire.
