AUSTIN, Tex. — Cameras were rolling for a happy reunion that was six years in the making.
It was all licks and tears inside an Austin, Texas airport when a woman was reunited with her beloved Yorkie on Thursday.
“Bailey” disappeared from Grisel Jaramillo’s yard six years ago — and then turned up in Indianapolis recently.
A quick check of his microchip traced the pooch back to his owner.
“No, there was a time I questioned microchipping, I did not know if they checked them or not, but they do,” Jaramillo said. “I am excited.”
Jaramillo took “Bailey” to the vet Friday and then threw a party to celebrate his homecoming.
