Yonkers, NY  —  A 40-year-old man who was trying to save a drowning boy was found dead in the Hudson River by the JFK Marina, according to authorities.

Police say a group of people were having a BBQ when a four-year-old was seen struggling inside the Marina.

The victim and three other men entered the water to save the child, but the deceased went missing after the toddler was brought to shore.
