DENVER, NC — A dog managed to get out of going to the groomers by wrecking her owner’s car in North Carolina.
The dog apparently recognized the building as they approached Wednesday morning and went a bit wild.
“She doesn’t like to be in here. She saw the building and I held her on the leash and she jumped on my right foot,” said Ingrid Zeiffer, the dog’s owner.
As a result, the driver couldn’t hit the brake and ended up slamming into the building.

The groomer’s shop had to be condemned, because the structure was knocked off its frame.
Police say they are not charging the driver and recommend dogs being taken to the groomer ride in a crate.
