RICHMOND, Va. — A spokesperson for Mayor Dwight Jones says a meeting the mayor planned to have with city council members to discuss details of his ballpark plan is being rescheduled.
Last week, the mayor offered to present more information about his ballpark plan to city council members on Thursday after learning five of nine members of council planned to vote against his proposal.
CBS 6 News has learned that two of those council members who planned to vote against the mayor’s plan, Reva Trammell and Jon Baliles, would not be able to attend the meeting.
Now the meeting has been postponed until further notice.
