HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — Heavy Memorial Day traffic is causing major delays on I-64 west and I-95 north.
VDOT said there was a seven mile backup on I-64 west near Talleysville in New Kent due to congestion.
Additionally, VDOT said I-95 north in Hanover County between Atlee/Elmont is continuing to move slowly. Earlier an accident
just past the Lewistown Road exit had traffic backed up for more than eight miles.
VDOT said drivers should expect delays.
