RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR): Grammy Nominated Musician & Entertainer Plunky Celebrates his 40th Anniversary in Richmond Friday, April 18 at the Hippodrome Theater, 528 North 2nd Street. The doors will open at 8pm and the program starts at 9pm, several artists will perform at Plunky's 40th Anniversary, Carlton Blount, Desiree Roots, James Gates, DJ. Mr. G, Danja Mowf, Marie Goodman Hunter, of course Plunky & Oneness and many more.
Plunky is on his 25th record, he was nominated for the song "Drop", the ultra-funky instrumental opening track on his Cold Heat CD, produced by Danja Mowf, whose credits include Aaliyah and Missy Elliot.
