RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR): Spend an afternoon celebrating cancer survivors and honoring love ones who have lost the fight to breast cancer at The American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 3rd annual Pink Ribbon Tea. The event is Sunday, April 27, 3pm - 6pm at The Westin Hotel, 6631 West Broad Street.
The afternoon features a Hat Fashion Show modeled by cancer survivors, stories and laughter and a silent auction. The Pink Ribbon Tea celebrates the lives of people who have battled cancer and also remembers loved ones who have lost the fight with breast cancer. So wear your favorite hat and come celebrate with your friends. Several local community leaders including CBS 6 Antoinette Essa and Kat Simons of Lite 98 will be recognized for their contributions to the American Cancer Society.
