RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A powerful low pressure storm system over the Plains has a warm front that stretches to southwest Virginia.
That system will force our stationary boundary to lift north through Virginia today as a warm front. Skies will be partly cloudy today, with only isolated and scattered showers during the day.
Our best window for thunderstorms will be between 9 p.m. and midnight, as it looks like a line of showers and storms will track from western Virginia eastward.
All showers and storms will rapidly weaken and end in eastern Virginia between Midnight and 3 a.m.
