Kathy & Richard Verlander

RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - Richard and Kathy Verlander have written a book about their incredible journey of being baseball parents, from the beginning of little league to the World Series. Their son, Justin Verlander, is one of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball and ace of the Detroit Tigers pitching staff. The Verlanders will discuss their book ‘Rocks Across the Pond’ during a post-film discussion Saturday, February 8^th at 1pm during the VCU Southern Film Festival at the Virginia Historical Society, 428 North Boulevard.
