CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police are investigating a car crash that left three people injured late Friday night.
The crash happened near the 7700 block of Midlothian Turnpike around 10:40 p.m.
According to police, a Chevy pickup truck turned out of a parking lot and headed southbound onto Ruthers Road, crossing Midlothian Turnpike. Police said the truck disregarded a traffic signal when it crossed over, hitting a Ford pickup truck that was heading east on Midlothian Turnpike.
Those injured in the crash were taken to a nearby hospital. The person driving the Chevy suffered life-threatening injuries.
