LOS ANGELES (WTVR) – Police responded to two incidents at Los Angeles International Airport overnight on Saturday.

Passengers fled from terminal five when they heard a banging sound of an SUV crashing outside the terminal.

Around the same time, a crank caller reported a gunman in terminal four.  Officers evacuated the area, but no gunman was found.

LAX Police Chief Patrick Gannon told CNN that the shooting situation is now under control.

The airport has been on edge since a TSA agent was killed three weeks ago.
