CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR)–Chesterfield Fire responded Monday to a boat in distress.
The call came in for a boat taking on water early Monday evening. Lt. Elmore with Chesterfield Fire told CBS 6 that at the time the boat did not seem to be in any distress but needed assistance getting back to shore.
The people in the boat said they hit something. They were rescued and taken back to shore. The boat has been secured until daylight.
