RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Richmond Philharmonic celebrates two milestones, the beginning of its 5th decade of service to the Richmond Community and the appointment of a new music director Peter Wilson.
The 2013-2014 season kicks off Sunday, November 10 at 4pm with the opening concert “Milestones” at the VCU Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Avenue. The performance includes Verdi’s “Overture to Nabucco”, Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op 67” and several other master pieces.
