RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- Violence erupted in a quadrant of South Richmond Saturday night.
Shortly after midnight, Police said an adult male, 23-year-old Toren Waller, was found dead from several gun shots shots, along the 500 block of Harrow Road, in the St. John’s Woods community.
Police, who have not yet released a description of the suspect, said the shooting may have stemmed from an argument.
Just minutes before the St. John's Woods Homicide, gunshots were reported nearthe parking lot of Chippenham Hospital.
While Chippenham Hospital is less than a mile from the St. John's Woods Community, police are not onnecting the two incidents.
Police are however looking for three women driving a Ford Taurus who they believe are connected to that incident.
CBS 6 has learned that the Chippenham gun fire was an escalation from a fight that took place on Broad Street in downtown following the 2nd Street Festival Saturday Evening.
In addition to that altercation occurring, police had to deal with another post festival fight.
Police confirmed to CBS 6 that in that incident Pepper Spray had to be used.
