RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Richmond Metropolitan Habitat Day celebrates World Habitat Day, (Monday, October 7th) on Saturday, October 5, from 11am- 3pm at Historic Tredegar, 500 Tredegar Street. It is open to volunteers and Richmonders interested in learning more about Richmond Habitat for Humanity and volunteering to build affordable homes for low-income families.
Habitat Day is a family, friendly, fun day with activities for children and adults, face painting, pumpkin painting, a corn pit, and bouncy houses, and games like volley ball, tug-of-war, obstacle course challenge, and egg toss and admission is free, games cost $15 per person and $60 per team.
