RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): 100th Anniversary of the Chesterfield County Fair, opens August 23rd and runs through August 31st, at the County Fairgrounds across from L. C. Bird High School, at Krause and Courthouse Roads. The fair features Tigers, bears and Ligers (half Lion half Tiger) GXW pro wrestling, A SEBRA sanctioned championship Extreme Bull Riding competition, and returning an Elvis Tribute by Keith Henderson, a Statler Brothers Tribute by America Pride and many rides and other attractions.
There’s also Military Appreciation Day, County Appreciation Day, a puppet show and the Miss Chesterfield County Pageant as well as the antique tractor exhibits, Civil War exhibits and demonstrations, parades, 4-H Clubs, the Arts and Crafts building and fair food.
