NEW YORK CITY (WTVR) -- A federal judge's ruling in New York could have an impact on a controversial police procedure used across the country.
A federal judge said the New York City Police Department's stop-and-frisk policy was unconstitutional and it had been disproportionately used on black and Hispanic citizens.
Virginia Congressmen Bobby Scott and Bob Goodlatte weighed in on the on CBS' "Face the Nation" on Sunday.
Both agreed the city's stop-and-frisk policy was in desperate need of a review and an overhaul.
