6th annual Eagle Classic Golf Tournament is back the Richmond Country Club, 12950 Patterson Avenue, through August 18th. More than 150 professional golfers from around the world will be participating. Here are the highlights: Friday, August 16: First Round of Tournament begins “Opening Day” , 7:30am; Saturday, August 17: Tournament continues, “Family Fun Day” 7:30am; Junior Golf Clinic 4pm; Sunday, August 18: Final Round/Awards Ceremony & “Military Appreciation Day”, 7:30am. Anthem Moonlight Ride, untimed, family-friendly ride starts & finishes at Sports Backers Stadium. The ride features the “Full Moon” (17-mile) and the “Half Moon” (8-mile) course through Lakeside, Bryan Park and the near West End. Schedule of events: Friday, August 17, early packet pick-up at Shelter 3 in Bryan Park from 4-7 pm; Saturday, August 17: 5 pm Agee’s Bicycles offering basic inspections and minor adjustments 6-7:30 pm Packet pick-up & walk-up registration open.
