RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- Dozens of conservatives gathered in a Richmond park to protest immigration legislation working its way through Congress.
It was the first stop of a so-called Stop Amnesty Tour Monday evening.
Organizers said the location was specifically chosen to put pressure on Republicans like Eric Cantor, who is working on a bill that would help grant citizenship to some illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. when they were children.
Similar rallies are scheduled for Dallas, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
