RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- Richmond police detectives spent Wednesday morning canvassing neighborhoods on the city's Southside searching for clues in a cold case murder.
Milton Jackson was murdered outside the Family Dollar where he worked last July. The crime happened during his first week on the job.
Police believe the three suspects came to the store minutes before the crime, tried to buy something, then came back while Jackson and another employee were locking up.
"What we need to do is get these guys identified. There are three of them. So I think somebody in the area knows at least one of them," said Richmond Police Detective James Baynes. "We're never going to give up on this. We're always going to be out here until we get this solved."
Anyone with information about Jackson's murder is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
