WESTPORT, Connecticut (WTNH) - The New Jersey Firefighters Union is helping to build 26 playgrounds in the tri-state area as part of the Sandy Ground Project.

Firefighters, police, dozens of volunteers and EMS workers were in Westport on Friday building a playground in honor of 6-year-old Dylan Hockley.

The playground in Westport incorporates some of Dylan's favorite things, such as his favorite color and his love for butterflies.

His dad told WTNH that building this playground will be a special memory for them.
