RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Richmond First Bacon Festival is this Sunday, June 9, from noon - 5 p.m. at the 17th Street Farmers' Market in Richmond's Shockoe Bottom.
At the festival you can expected to taste bacon-centric dishes from more than 20 of Richmond's popular restaurants. There will also be a selection of Virginia Craft Beers from Devils Backbone Brewery and Bold Rock Hard Cider.
Sample deep-fried bacon, bacon bloody Marys, shrimp and bacon to bacon maple frozen ice pops.
Bands are scheduled to perform throughout the day at the free festival. Bacon food samples are $3 each and benefits The Enrichmond Foundation.
