RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Every four minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer, like leukemia and the cure for blood cancer could be in the hands of ordinary people like you and me. Do your part to save a life by registering for Be The Match Walk/Run. The fundraising event is Saturday, June 1, in Monroe Park, 620 West Main Street.
Proceeds from the walk/run will help patients with blood cancers find a marrow donor and receive a life-saving transplant. The event will also help patients with uninsured treatment costs and support research and add more volunteer potential marrow donors to the Be The Match Registry.
