HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- The Hanover mother accused of attacking her son with an ax is facing new charges.
A grand jury indicted Kimberly Shepperson on two counts of attempted capital murder on Friday.
Court documents show Shepperson admitted to the attack and also told investigators that she drugged her kids and set their Bultaco Trail home on fire in February because she wanted them to die.
Shepperson’s trial is scheduled to begin in October.
