Police ID Warriors fans killed coming from game

OAKLAND, Calif. (WTVR) —  Police have released the names of two men killed while heading home from a Golden State Warriors game Thursday.

KPIX reportsthat 30-year-old Christopher Beardon, of Pittsburg, Calif., and 28-year-old Terrance Marks, of Richmond, Calif., were shot while driving on Highway 880 near the Jackson Street exit.

That’s when the California Highway Patrol said someone in a dark-colored SUV pulled up alongside the Porsche and opened fired just after 10:30 Thursday night.

The highway patrol said the victims’ car slammed into a guardrail and veered across several lanes of traffic.

Both victims died at the scene.
