RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - Formed on the VCU campus 43 years ago, Black Awakening Choir has become a nationally recognized collegiate choir. Today, they performed two songs for us. You have a chance to catch Black Awakening Choir live this Friday, April 26th at 5:30pm for their 'In His Image' fashion showcase at VCU's Commons Plaza and on Sunday, April 28th,celebrating 43years of ministry with a concert at the 5th Baptist Church on Cary St at 4:30pm.
