RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - We're tracking rain that could make Easter Sunday wet at times. If you're planning to head out to sunrise services, it should be dry in the Metro Richmond area with cloudy skies and temperatures in the low and mid 40s. Sunrise is at 6:56 A.M.
Showers will already be affecting southwest Virginia up into Farmville by sunrise, and that rain will quickly spread northeast, affecting Metro Richmond between 8 and 10 A.M.
The rain could be briefly heavy during the mid and late morning, but by midday the showers will become more scattered. Skies may brighten up a bit in the afternoon, but scattered showers are still possible. While temperatures may be slow to rise initially, afternoon highs should be in the low 60s.
Have a wonderful and safe holiday!
