The next storm system will spread rain into the area Tuesday morning. It may be cold enough across far northern and western Virginia for a brief period of light snow or a mix.
Showers will move through during the morning and early afternoon, tapering off during the evening.
Rainfall amounts will not be heavy, but many spots could pick up about one-tenth of an inch of rain.
