RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A man was struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in the 3100 block of Hull Street.
Richmond Police spokesman James Mercante said officers responded to a call around 2:19 a.m. for a hit and run that involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.
According to reports, the vehicle struck the pedestrian and then fled the scene.
The victim is described as a 45-year-old black male. He was taken to the hospital with injuries that are considered life-threatening.
Hit and run detectives are currently investigating this case.
