RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Veterans of Color is an award-winning motion picture, celebrating the contributions and achievements of African Americans in the U.S. Armed Forces. Untold stories of blacks in the military in American History as told by Veterans who lived them.
Veterans of Color is produced by ASALAH, The Association for the Study of African American Life and History and can be seen at the Virginia War Memorial Friday, February 8, doors open at 5pm and the program starts at 5:15. There will be music by Franklin Military Academy Chorus, The Military Retirees Club as well as many Veterans.
