The clipper system that has producing the snow will exit to the east tonight. Final snow totals will range from a coating to 1″ for areas well northwest of the metro. The Richmond metro area will see 0.5″ to 1.5″ of snowfall. A few isolated 2″ totals are possible.
The heaviest accumulations will fall for areas well south and east of the Richmond where some 2-3″ totals will be common.
Temperatures overnight through daybreak will be in the teens and 20s, so any untreated surfaces will stay slick.
