(CBS News) — Toyota has settled the first of hundred of potential wrongful death lawsuits.
The lawsuits were based on claims that sudden, unintended acceleration of Toyota vehicles caused deaths and injuries.
Thursday’s settlement involved the death of a couple in Utah three years ago, their Toyota Camry slammed into a wall.
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
