SANTA MONICA, Calif. (WTVR) – Actor Josh Brolin has been busted for being drunk in public, according to CBSNews.com
The report says Brolin spent some of New Year’s Day in a jail cell after he was arrested for misdemeanor public intoxication.
Santa Monica police detective said Brolin was arrested just before midnight on Jan. 1 when officers found him “heavily intoxicated on a Santa Monica sidewalk.”

The actor spent about six hours in jail before he was released. Sources said the actor will likely not appear in court as he was not issued a citation.
Brolin’s new film, “Gangster Squad,” opens this week.
