RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - CBS 6 anchor Bill Fitzgerald sat down with Tareq Salahi, who gained a certain amount of infamy when he and his then-wife Michaele crashed a White House state dinner in 2009.
Salahi has declared himself a candidate for the 2013 Republican gubernatorial nomination in Virginia and said he will challenge Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, the presumed frontrunner.
Salahi talked about his chances and why he would not sign a pledge required by the Republican Party to support all the Party’s candidates regardless of the outcome of an individual nominating battle.
