CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — Chesterfield police are continuing to search for the driver who hit and killed 58-year-old man out walking on Thanksgiving.
Authorities said in a news release Thursday that police think the car that hit Roscoe Baker Jr., of the 1500 block Armfield Road in Richmond, may have been a pearl white Chrysler sedan.
Additionally, police said that the vehicle involved in the crash would have front end damage.
Baker was hit by a car while crossing the westbound lanes of Hull Street Road, near the intersection with Turner Road, shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22.
Baker died at the scene.
