It’s better to give than receive and that’s what RVA Feed The City is doing again for the 4th year. The group provided Thanksgiving meals, non-perishable to go boxes, winter clothing, haircuts, health screenings and other free services to the city.
Members and Volunteers will be in Monroe Park Sunday, November 18th from 2-5 pm sharing the meals and clothing. Donations of winter clothing -heavy jackets, scarves, hats, gloves, boots, shirts, jeans, thermals, etc, and can goods are needed and can be dropped off at any Gold’s Gym. donations will be accepted at Monroe Park the day of the event.
Volunteers are also needed to set up in Monroe Park and on Sunday, if interested volunteers can sign up at www.RVAFeedTheCity.com.
