(WTVR) - A U.S. Open Tennis umpire pled not guilty in a Los Angeles court today for allegedly killing her husband with a coffee mug.

Lois Goodman was arrested at the U.S. Open in August and accused of fatally beating her 80-year-old husband in their home just days before leaving for the New York tournament.

Alan Goodman was beaten with a coffee mug then stabbed to death with its broken shards.

A preliminary hearing is set for December 7th.
